//WHAT DOES "YUD'DHA FREEDOM" MEAN?\\
'Battle for Freedom'. 'Yud'dha', as directly translated from the Nepalese Language, stands for 'Battle'. In order to fight for our cause and to stress its urgency, we believe that the name of our event translates to our cause at hand.
It is also a play on words as "Yud'dha Freedom" sounds like "You're the Freedom", implying that as you take part in this event and support our cause, you are the freedom for the women and children in Nepal that will be blessed!
// WHY CROWDFUNDING? \\
We believe that with crowdfunding, we would be able to reach out to a larger and more cohesive target audience. Most audiences that visit this page would have the ideology to serve the same purpose as we have. Which is to foster a healthy community and to help one another. This platform allows us to connect to many potential donors and to have a platform to ensure transparency between donors and executive organizers.
// BUDGET PLAN \\
1. Logistical Purposes- To fund for our venue at Sports Planet Ampang, other resources such as certificates, medals, merchandise (T-shirts, Hoodies, Wristbands, etc.), PR System (mic, speakers)
2. To fund for our point system. Since we are going with the system of 1 point= RM1 raised for wonderworks to ensure competition on the day itself, funds from sponsors are needed to fund the system.
3. Any additional funds will be directly transmitted to Wonderworks, Asia. Our charity partner organization.
// WONDERWORKS ASIA \\
Wonderworks Asia is a non-profitable organization. They are based in Nepal and is a registered charity in Hong Kong. The aim and purpose of this charity organization is to empower women and to foster gender equality.
In the patriachial-built society in Nepal, Women are often discriminated. Discriminated from their workplace, education, and just discriminated solely for being a women. Even as technology advances, and individuals are more emphathethic, the lives of the women still remain at stake.
With the funds raised during our event, this would be used to fund for their businesses. Women will be the sole leader of their own business. This would allow them to feel a sense of ownership in society, and feel that they can contribute to the betterment of society.
Once their business gets going, they will be giving 30% of the comission back to Wonderworks, Asia to help more Women in need.

//WHO ARE WE?\\
Project 1611 is non-profit organisation (NPO) made up of passionate youths determined to make a change. We will be raising funds for a NPO based in Nepal, called WonderWorks, that teaches women how to be independent and how open their own businesses to support their families.
//HOW\\
To do this, we will be holding a fundraising sports event and we're calling all the youths of Malaysia to sign up and support our cause!
The event will consist of 3 main games - futsal, captainball and dodgeball. One match will last up to 5 minutes.
A counter will be set up to pair you up with another team. If there are no teams ready to play with you, a waiting area has been prepared. There will be a referee for each court, so once both teams are ready, the games will finally begin!!
You can play an unlimited number of games and ANY sports of your choice! Let's say you wish to play captain ball in the first round, you can play futsal in your second one and vice-versa! For every point, you generate RM5 for Wonderworks!
//HOW TO WIN\\
As you play, you will accumulate points that will determine the overall winner! It is not compulsory to fundraise BUT there's a catch!
In the month prior to the actual event, all teams will be encouraged to fundraise money beforehand. This will give you a head start as each RM1 = 1 point. This means that the more you raise, the more of a headstart you'll have when the actual day comes!
We will have 3 categories for the prizes:
1. Teams that fundraised the most prior to event day
2. Teams that generated most points during event day
3. Teams that fundraised the most and generated the most points ( The grand TOTAL )
// OUR TEAM \\
Our group consists of diverse individuals. However, we have a common goal in mind. To empower Women in need and to enable them to have an equal playing field with Men

Risks and potential challenges
1. Shedding light on the fact that we are all high-school graduates/ college students, we only have little access to the general public. Since we originate from the same high-school, the individuals we are reaching out to may not be the most. It is not extremely effective since our connections are all relatively similar. We may not get the best turnout of participants.
2. Since we are a youth-led initiative, big corporates may not acknowledge our work and our doings as we may not be an established NPO (Non-Profit Organisation). Most big corporates do not have as much faith for youth-led initiatives compared to bigger projects. Raising funds may be an issue. Hence, crowdfunding is an option to consider.
3. Some potential challenges may be a lack of communication and spirits in the team. Since we are all at different branches of school, the lack of unity may be an issue. Time constraints and time management is one thing to consider. Delegating tasks has to be effective to avoid potential disparities in the team.
